Evolution of a Writer

Carolyn Bruno Havrilla is a creative thinker who has been writing and fundraising for non-profits for more than 25 years. Her broad experience includes independent school marketing, fundraising, and friendraising for schools and fraternal organizations, media pitches, copy editing, interpreting, and translations in both Italian and Spanish.

Carolyn draws on her direct experience as an independent school teacher where she developed and taught her Critical Thinking through the Manipulitive Arts program for 15 years. She is an independent school alumna and parent of independent school graduates.

Carolyn serves as a Trustee for VFW Auxiliary Post 6393 and is a lifetime member in her hometown of Yardley, Pennsylvania. She is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America and dedicates many hours to the fundraising efforts of the Knights of Columbus.  Carolyn is an avid painter and enjoys repurposing anything from clothing to ironwork.
