IT ALL STARTED WHEN...

WOODS SERVICES, in an effort to expand its community outreach, decided to launched a Winter Wonderland Holiday Market on their 300 acre campus in the heart of the Borough of Langhorne, PA just six weeks before their annual major fundraiser.Fête & Fundraiser - Building Health and Wellness.

RESULT: Two successful events:

Despite frigid weather, Winter Wonderland at Woods, attracted more than 800 attendees with approximately 20 vendors and a continuous stream of entertainment for the three-day event that included radio personalities from Today 96.5, a daily tree lighting ceremony, and photos with Santa for friends, family and pets.  Survey results from the community responded with a resounding, “Let’s do it again next year!”

WOODS Fête & Fundraiser - Building Health and Wellness. celebrated the renovation and expansion of Woods’ Davenport Medical Center and exceeded its fundraising goal of $300,000! More than 240 guests enjoyed gourmet food, wine, spirits and confections from nineteen area restaurants for an elegant evening focused on “Building Health and Wellness“ for the residents and employees of Woods Services.

How Contracted Word supplied resources:

  • Utilizing Raiser’s Edge software, tracked and responded appropriately to vendor and sponsorship applications, gift processing, and acknowledgements.
  • Provided content for the Program Book including detailed write-ups on the 19 participating restaurants, President's letter edits, and print layout.
  • Utilizing Google Documents and Dropbox was able to track, share, and edit content in real time among and for users.
